The Plantaion on Amelia Island is a perfect get away for anyone and especially for families.
I really like Shipwatch. It has a nice pool and it’s close to the beach. The condo unit I stayed in had everything I needed, was cool, comfortable and perfect for a single or a couple or even a small family (it’s one bedroom but there’s a pull out couch so 1 child or 2 small children can sleep there). The bedroom is roomy and the bathroom is roomy. The kitchen has everything you need and there’s a nice dining area. There is no balcony in this unity but that didn’t bother me. Dave is great to work with. I highly recommend this place.
What a Florida gem
The condo was exactly as described. It is beachfront and only steps from the pool and beach. The windows face west so you have a tree canopy view. While it is not beachfront, the unit is only steps from the beach. We loved that the beach was not crowded and that we could easily get to the beach. The historic area is a short drive away and there are wonderful restaurants in the historic area. We highly recommend this unit!
